Welcome to the Keble College Boat Club homepage. Here, you will find all the latest information about the club. Keble College is one of the largest constituent colleges of the University of Oxford, and it is renowned for its academic and sporting prowess. The rowing club in College is one of the largest, entering four crews in last year’s Summer Eights.
It is also one of the best-equipped boat clubs in Oxford with two boathouses, erg training room, use of the in-college gym and our own stretch of the River Isis. We also have two brand new Olympic standard eights, totalling seven eights along with a wide range of smaller boats. With generous support from Neptune Investment Management and College itself, we are looking to expand even further with upgrades to our training room and our large Isis boathouse.
With the continued support of our Olympic coach we are in a strong position to put both the 1st boats in the first division of Torpids and Summer Eights next year. We also aim to train up very strong second and third boats for both the male and female squads so that we continue to maintain strong performances year after year. In order to do this we encourage both experienced and novice rowers, as well as coxes, to join the squad to start to train with us during Michaelmas term. Both the men and women’s 1st boats competed with novice rowers in this year helping Keble have one of its most successful years in recent times.
